Cressi R1 Lightweight Scuba Diving BCD

The Cressi R1 is a scuba diving jacket designed to be a complete, yet lightweight, hydrodynamic, and affordable solution for divers. Crafted from durable 500-Denier Cordura, it is well-suited for rental use or intense underwater activities.

The R1 features a rigid, padded backpack with a built-in carry handle, providing comfort and convenience. Boasting three exhaust valves, the jacket allows for easy buoyancy adjustments. Additionally, two large, zippered pockets on either side offer ample storage space for accessories.

The R1's harness system utilizes traditional squeeze-style buckles and adjustable straps on the shoulders, chest, and waist, enabling a precise and customized fit. A Velcro-adjustable waist cummerbund further enhances the jacket's security and comfort, setting it apart from other buoyancy control devices (BCDs) in the same category.

The R1 BCD comes equipped with an integrated, lock-aid quick-release weight system, capable of holding up to 20 lbs (9 kg) of weight, with 10 lbs (4.5 kg) in each pocket. Depending on the size of the BCD, the R1 provides a lift range of 16.9 lbs to 36 lbs (7.6 kg to 16.33 kg).
