The Cressi Patrol is a versatile dorsal volume BCD (buoyancy control device) suitable for all types of diving. Its robust yet lightweight construction features a low transport volume, coupled with impressive strength and flexibility.

The harness system is completely independent of the air bladder, providing absolute stability and eliminating any compression of the chest, axillary, or abdominal area. This is achieved through the expansion of the bladder, which extends to the outside of the dorsal area and surrounds the tank. The design and arrangement of the harnesses make the Patrol suitable for both men and women.

The Patrol boasts a high-lift capacity dorsal air bladder, yet its external stowage volume remains contained, thanks to the elastic containment tensioners. These tensioners facilitate the deflation process and prevent displacement of air during the dive, ensuring stability.

The Patrol's backpack is remarkably lightweight and semi-flexible, ensuring it fulfills its function without adding unnecessary weight or volume. It is entirely covered with comfortable, neutral buoyancy padding made of a closed-cell material that prevents water or air accumulation, reducing inherent buoyancy and facilitating rapid drying.

Unlike many "travel jackets," the Patrol's tank stability underwater is not compromised, thanks to the air chamber's configuration, which acts as a guide for the tank. The weight system, LAS (Lock Aid System) 2.0, is now more integrated into the BCD's profile, with a reduced thickness, ensuring maximum ease of use and total safety against accidental weight loss.

The Direct System Inflator boasts a double metal filter in the air entrance, a cylindrical valve design, and a robust yet attractive appearance. The inflation rate has been recalibrated, offering a 50% increase in performance compared to traditional BCDs of the same size. The anti-sand design features a minimized mouth inflator nozzle and a push-button with wide clearances to prevent sand-related blockages. The new, very resistant hose has a progressive curvature, and the upper vacuum valve now features a non-return valve to prevent accidental water entry.

The Cressi Patrol is manufactured in Hungary and is covered by a 2-year limited warranty. It features 4 ABS D-rings, a "Y" hose holder, and a combination of 420D Nylon and 3 other fabrics. The roll-up side pockets with zippers and bindings fit perfectly into their designated spaces, with a 15 mm spring closure to prevent accidental snags. Each pocket can hold up to 4.5 kg of flexible weight, and the 100% dorsal air chamber provides the best buoyancy in the entire Cressi range.
