The Start BCD is crafted with resilience in mind, featuring a 1000 Denier Cordura exterior panel and a 500 Denier inner layer. This robust construction makes it an ideal choice for Dive Centers, where the jackets often need to be inflated to their maximum capacity. The size is prominently displayed on the shoulder strap, ensuring easy identification.

The Denier Nylon Cordura used in the construction is more resistant to erosion caused by long-term friction, extending the lifespan of the weldings. This material is harder and more durable than standard Nylon.

The waist strap is designed independently of the air bladder, allowing the diver to tighten the strap while the jacket is deflated without causing discomfort when the jacket is inflated.

The inflator boasts a double air filtration system, with filters situated under the hose connection stem and around the valve. This feature allows for easy rinsing to remove any sand or debris that may accumulate.

The backplate system is crafted from ultra-durable thermoplastic, ensuring a compact and lightweight design. A rubber damper helps grip the tank, and a second tank strap can be added for added security. A nylon locator strap is included to maintain proper tank positioning every time.

For precise buoyancy control, the Start BCD is equipped with 3 exhaust valves that can be adjusted in any position.

Two large cargo pockets with Velcro closure provide ample storage space. On top of each pocket, there is a dedicated compartment to hold the pressure gauge and the octopus.

The Start BCD is designed in Italy and manufactured in Hungary by Cressi. It is CE certified, meeting the EN 250 and EN 1809 standards, and is backed by a 2-year limited warranty.

Four 32mm technopolymer D-rings are strategically placed: one above and one at the bottom of each pocket, providing convenient attachment points.
